Growing in our faith, also sometimes called Christian Education or Christian Formation, is a journey of a life time. At St. Thomas, we take seriously our tagline, “Searchers, Seekers and Doubters Welcome” because we believe that all of us can find ourselves in one of those three categories at any given time.
We strive to constantly learn and grow in our faith through worship, intergenerational events, bible studies, retreats, Sunday school classes and providing resources for individuals and families to use at home.
Children are an active part of everything at St. Thomas! On any given Sunday morning, you may find them serving as torch or book bearers (who doesn’t like carrying fire!), reading lessons, leading prayers, singing in the children’s choir, or handing out bulletins.
Most Sundays from September to May, they start in classes in our parish house at 9:50 am and join their families in Worship at about 10:30 am. Classes are taught by volunteers who have completed Safe Church and are regularly trained by our clergy.
Godly Play
Godly Play: (4yo Pre-K through 2nd grade) meet Sundays in the Chapel, drop off begins at 9:50am
Godly Play is a Montessori based curriculum that encourages children (and adults!) to wonder about the stories and traditions of our faith and develop a language for talking about God.

Seekers & Searchers
Weaving God's Promises: (3rd and 4th grades) meet Sundays in the Parish Library, drop off begins at 9:50am
Weaving God's Promise features class sessions structured around the Holy Eucharist and includes special sessions for the seasons of the church year.

Rite 13
Rite 13: (5th - 8th grades) meet Sunday mornings and other times
Rite 13 is the first segment of the Journey to Adulthood program, which supports young people in their emotional, spiritual, and social growth as they move toward adulthood. This portion of the program focuses on helping tweens and early teens explore identity, celebrate their gifts, and build community. It includes bible study, reflection, service, and fellowship.
